The inspiration for starting Chance to Dance came to Ava during her visit to the Yayasan Felicia Angel Kids orphanage in Jakarta, Indonesia in January 2023. As she bonded with the children, they shared their favorite dance moves with her and inquired about other styles of dance she might know. When the conversation turned to ballet, the kids expressed a strong desire to learn it but lamented their lack of financial resources and access to training.

Exactly a year later in January 2024, Ava returned to the orphanage with ballet supplies, fulfilling their dream by teaching them the fundamentals of ballet. 💞🩰
